Music Review: Black Keys - Attack and Release

It’s easy to be dismissive and simply compare Black Keys to The White Stripes. The low-fi arrangements, the sound of the guitar, the chunkiness of the music, and the distorted vocals all weigh against to Jack and Meg somewhat. The comparisons might be flattering, but they aren’t entirely fair as Black Keys surpass The White Stripes in just about every way.

Led Zeppelin Comeback DVD Could Be Scrapped

Led Zeppelin Comeback DVD Could Be Scrapped image

He added, however, that “at some distant point” the concert may become available for people who weren’t their in person.

Music Review: Top 50 Albums of 2007 Pt. IV (11-20)

Welcome to part four of my look back at the amazing music year that was 2007. They’ve already started printing up Josh Homme’s drink tickets in anticipation As it so often does, Southern Comfort is rising back up, ready to return. (Though this time, you’ll want to run to your local parking lot– and not the nearest sink– to catch the action.)
